About Dr. Kemp
Dr. Helen Kemp is a caring and highly experienced General Practitioner who welcomes patients of all ages. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare with a strong focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and supporting patients through every stage of life.
Before joining the Gold Coast community, Dr. Kemp worked in Cairns, where she completed her General Practice training and gained valuable experience at Cairns Hospital, including a rural placement in Mareeba. Her diverse career also includes roles in medical research, public health, health economics, and clinical research in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Dr. Kemp has contributed to major national health initiatives, including the Australian Burden of Disease Study, and has held positions with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) and the UK's National Health Service (NHS). This broad experience allows her to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs.
