End-to-End Workplace Injury Management

Our work injury service provides prompt assessment, treatment, and ongoing management for employees who have been injured at work. We care for both new and gradual-onset workplace injuries, including musculoskeletal conditions, fractures, repetitive strain injuries, occupational illnesses, work-related skin conditions, and hearing loss. Our GPs also assist with WorkCover certificates, return-to-work and fitness-for-work assessments, and coordinate referrals to physiotherapy, psychology, or other specialists to support a safe and successful recovery.

A work injury — whether sudden or gradual onset — needs prompt, accurate medical management. Our GPs provide WorkCover initial certificates, ongoing management, specialist referral, and coordination with employers, insurers, and rehabilitation providers throughout your recovery. We take a thorough approach: understanding the mechanism and nature of the injury, arranging appropriate imaging and investigations, prescribing evidence-based treatment, and setting realistic, progressive work capacity targets. We understand that timely communication with employers and WorkCover Queensland is as important to your recovery as clinical treatment — and we make this a priority.

  • WorkCover initial and ongoing certificates of capacity

  • Diagnosis, treatment planning, and imaging requests

  • Physiotherapy, psychology, and specialist referral under WorkCover

  • Coordination with employers and rehabilitation providers

  • Return-to-work planning — graduated duties and modified hours

  • WorkCover billing direct to insurer — no cost to the patient

Work Injury Management — From Day One to Return to Work

Injured at work? Get the right care and the right documentation quickly. Our GPs manage work injuries from initial presentation through to full return to work.

Recovery & Return to Work

We schedule regular review appointments to update your certificate, track recovery, liaise with your employer, and develop a progressive return-to-work plan as your capacity improves.

Certificate & Treatment Plan

Your WorkCover certificate of capacity is completed, and a treatment plan is established — including referrals to physiotherapy, specialist, or psychology as clinically appropriate.

Initial Assessment

Your GP takes a detailed history of the injury — mechanism, timeline, and current symptoms — examines you thoroughly, and determines your capacity for work duties at this time.
