Our nursing team provides comprehensive clinical care for patients of all ages, working closely with your GP to deliver timely treatment, preventive care, and ongoing health support. Whether you need childhood, adult, or travel immunisations, wound care, dressing changes, suture removal, chronic disease monitoring, iron or Aclasta infusions, ECG or blood pressure checks, ear syringing, or point-of-care testing such as blood glucose and INR, our experienced nurses are here to help with compassionate, professional care.
Practice nurses play a vital role in the quality and continuity of care at Merrimac Medical Centre. Our nurses hold current clinical qualifications and work within their full scope of practice across a wide range of services — including immunisations for children and adults, wound care and dressing management, chronic disease monitoring and education, infusion therapy, ECG recording, ear syringing, and health assessment support. Many nursing appointments are available on the same day, and our nurses coordinate closely with GPs to ensure your care is seamlessly integrated. Booking Your Appointment
Many nursing services — including immunisations, wound reviews, ECGs, and ear syringing — can be booked directly without a prior GP consultation. Call reception or book online and select the relevant service.
