Our telehealth service offers a convenient way to consult with your GP when attending the clinic isn't possible. Virtual appointments are suitable for follow-up consultations, results reviews, repeat prescriptions, mental health check-ins, chronic disease management, medical certificates, and care coordination. While many healthcare needs can be managed remotely, your GP will advise if an in-person appointment is required to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
Telehealth at Merrimac Medical Centre is available for a wide range of consultations — from follow-up appointments and prescription renewals to mental health check-ins, chronic disease reviews, and medical certificates. We use HotDoc Video, a secure and easy-to-use platform that works directly in your browser — no downloads required. Your GP has access to your full medical history during the call, ensuring continuity of care. If an in-person visit is needed, your GP will let you know and help arrange an appointment.
