Comprehensive Indigenous Health Assessment Program
The ATSI Health Assessment (MBS Item 715) is available to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of any age and is recommended every year to support long-term health and wellbeing. The assessment is tailored to each stage of life, covering children's growth and development, adult preventive care and chronic disease screening, and healthy ageing for older adults. It is also particularly valuable for people living with ongoing health conditions or anyone looking to establish regular, proactive healthcare with their GP.

The ATSI Health Assessment (MBS Item 715) is a thorough, structured whole-body check-up designed to address the higher rates of chronic disease, preventable illness, and health inequity experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. Our GPs approach every assessment with cultural respect and genuine commitment to patient-centred care. The assessment covers physical health, mental health and social-emotional wellbeing, preventive screening, and chronic disease identification — and a follow-up care plan ensures any identified needs are addressed promptly. Patients can access up to 5 Medicare-rebated allied health visits following the assessment.
